Are you adventure ready? Hiking and backpacking are more than just a walk in the woods. Keeping your trip fun, safe and sustainable takes a little pre-planning. Up your hiking game and learn about gear essentials, best practices and more with Park Interpreter Trish. This fun, interactive program will give you hands-on practice in selecting gear, loading a pack, pitching a tent and proper disposal of waste. You will also learn the seven “Leave No Trace” principals that help ensure you are using wild areas in a way that preserves them for generations to come. Recommended for ages 8+. COVID-19 GUIDELINES ARE IN EFFECT FOR GUEST AND STAFF SAFETY. SPACE MAY BE LIMITED.
