We will begin with an indoor program in the Discovery Classroom, “How to Navigate the Night Sky: Spring Edition”. Weather permitting, the outdoor viewing will begin at 9:15 p.m. and we will view the thin crescent moon, planets Venus and Mars, stars, star clusters, and galaxies. Items you may wish to bring include a flashlight covered with a red cloth (or red balloon) and a folding chair.  If you have binoculars or a star chart, feel free to bring them, but club members will bring telescopes to share with the public. Recommended for ages 8+.
