SCAS president Bill Murphy will begin with the indoor program in the Discovery Classroom discussing light pollution. Weather permitting, the outdoor viewing will begin at 5:30 p.m. and we will view Saturn and Jupiter, some fall constellations, and possibly some meteors from the Northern Taurids meteor shower. Items you may wish to bring include a flashlight covered with a red cloth or red balloon, binoculars and/or telescope, folding chair, and a star chart if you have one. Recommended for ages 8 and above. COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES ARE IN EFFECT FOR GUEST AND STAFF SAFETY. SPACE MAY BE LIMITED.
