 About 50% of Northwest Arkansas is covered with forest and prescribed fire is a valuable management tool that benefits the forest and helps prevent wildfires. Join us to learn more about the benefits of prescribed fire and have a little fun doing it while looking at the equipment used and try on some of the gear for yourself. Come and go as you please. A 15-minute program will start every half-hour from 11:30 – 1:30.
