Gather around the “reading rocker” at the visitor center to learn about some fascinating bugs! It’s that time of year when the “bugs” come out and some of them can be really noisy. There’s a reason for all that noise, and it’s nothing to fear. Come learn a little about the forest’s noisiest bug buddies the cicada and the katydid. We’ll read a story, play a game, mimic sounds on wooden kazoos, make a fun craft and learn more about these interesting creatures along the way. Recommended ages 4+.
