March is Arkansas Archeology month. Come learn how the science of archeology has allowed us to uncover clues about the people who once lived in Van Winkle Hollow. Come explore the historic site and learn more about the science of archeology. Participate in a fun, hands-on D.I.G. activity to see how good you are at identifying artifacts found on the site using a special “key”. (No actual digging will occur.) Meet at the Van Winkle Trailhead. Recommended age 8+.
