Keep Hobbs State Park Beautiful
how your appreciation for YOUR state park on National Public Lands Day by volunteering for this Keep Arkansas Beautiful event! We’ll meet at the Visitor Center pavilion to organize and give away t-shirts. We’ll have two different projects including a trash pick-up along park roads and trail maintenance. The minimum age for trash pick-up is 15 and 10 for trail maintenance.
When: Saturday, September 26, 8-11 am.
Where: Meet at the Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area Pavilion.
We will have two teams to choose from: trail clean up and roadside clean up
After the work details end at 11am, we’ll meet back at the pavilion for drinks, popsicles, and free t-shirts while supplies last.
Max for each work team as 12 each, total of 24
We Provide:
- Safety gear (cloth gloves, vests, trash bags)
- Refreshments and water
- A big dose of fresh air and good company!
You Bring:
- Comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes, favorite gloves
- A positive attitude
- Your love for nature
